This whole fake rumour started from a Facebook post, which looks awfully fake, and later carried on by the Twitter. An article which doesn't have any reliable source mentioned says, "Recently, all the One punch man animators and staff from MADHOUSE studio were shifted to MAPPA studio. MAPPA confirmed that they will release a Teaser soon. We don't have to worry about the animation because animators are same as Season 1's Animators. Also MAPPA is known for creating High quality action anime like Jujutsu Kaisen, The God of Highschool etc." and the source for this news is neither mentioned nor was I able to find it.

I checked MAPPA s official website's coming soon section and as you might guess, there was no news about One Punch Man Season 3.  The above article even mentions the expected release date, "Season 1-2 covered Total 84 chapters of the manga and currently manga have 150+ chapters which are enough for Season 3. MAPPA Has already started working on Season 3. We will see it airing in December 2023 most probably. "

Although the rumour is something too off the mark, this rumour was really something I wish, were true. Let me know in the comments which anime studio do you think, will be animating the Season 3?
